Does the company name have a meaning?
- The concept of the name Kure Tea was inspired by the lady gaga song, “The Cure”! This is a secret that nobody has unlocked until now! The interpretation basis of the song is about love being the “cure”. Lady gaga states, ” if I can’t find the cure, I will fix you with my love”. KureTea also shares this same mission. We love tea and uniting people through tea consumption.
Do you participate in any charities?
- As a new small business, the financial backbone is still in development but there are more ways to give other than financially!
- KureTea donated tea last year (2020) to the YMCA to help stuff stockings and support the troops with a little extra holiday cheer! #supportthetroops #ymcalagunaniguel #ustroops #usa
What is your (or any of your other co-workers’) favorite tea?
- My favorite tea is the Meditative Moringa. This is my go to tea for relaxation and it helps me when I have trouble sleeping. The Co-Owner of KureTea, Jessica’s go to tea is Crown Chakra tea. This his her favorite tea to drink when she has a headache.
What are your thoughts on transparency in the tea industry?
- Tea transparency for KureTea incorporates a conscious effort to source materials that engage in fair practices and utilize materials that are eco-friendly. KureTea believes that energy is harvested from within so utilizing materials that support the life of the planet is important to us.
What role does tea play in our lives?
- Tea plays a spiritual role for KureTea. A cup of tea utilizes herbs that are grown on this planet. Herbs that our ancestors used to support their daily living functions. Tea is more than a luxury it is a necessity.

- KureTea started its herbal tea line based on the chakras. Chakras are considered the energy life forces within our bodies. Each chakra tea has been curated specifically to align with each chakra.
